I have one of two new palettes in the Dior Tie & Dye collection; Contraste Horizon, above. At first glance it looks a bit scary with a gold lit grey/green and that very bright aqua shade, but in fact, I love the versatility of it. The bronzy brown shade is a colour I wear a lot anyway – and it’s stunning alongside the aqua.
The Dior 5 Couleurs Palette in Contraste Horizon is £42. As ever, if you’re familiar with the Dior eye formula, it’s smooth, silky and beautifully blendable.
From the whole Dior Tie & Dye collection, other than the bronzer which I blogged yesterday, these are where my heart is! The Dior Addict Tie Dye is lipstick that acts like a balm/gloss – super juicy and soft on the lip. I have to be very honest and say that the second shade in the CD pattern that runs through the entire bullet (wait til you see what I did…) doesn’t make any impact at all. I can’t say I care.. it’s too pretty and the colours are beautiful without an extra dimension. Above from top to bottom you see: Hypnotic Plum, Red Bliss and Fuchsia Utopia.
Yes, I know, there is a special place in beauty hell waiting for me for taking a knife to this.. but.. I just wanted to be sure! Sorry, Dior.
Shades here from top to bottom are: Cosmic Pink, Coral Trip and Nude Fever. They’re £25.50 each – that’s made me wince…
Swatches from bottom to top are: Cosmic Pink, Nude Fever, Coral Trip, Fuchsia Utopia, Hypnotic Plum and Red Bliss.
Fluid Sticks are, I think, my favourite ever Dior product. Since their launch, they’re a regular go-to (but you have to not mind topping up.. they do need it quite regularly). There are four new shades for the Tie & Dye collection – I’d wear all them.
The Fluid Sticks are so comfortable on the lip, yet deliver a very good dose of colour; there’s a cooling feeling when you first apply and then a slick of creaminess that feels hydrating.
Swatches from bottom to top are: Beige Passion, Gel Rose, Plaisir and Tropiques. They’re £26.50 each.
