L'Occitane Shea Hibiscus Solidarity Balm 2020

Today is International Women’s Day and I can’t think of a better time than now to share a wonderful product and intuitive by L’Occitane that supports women’s leadership worldwide. Every year L’Occitane creates a limited edition product, in aid of the L’Occitane Foundation which has helped over 32,000 women since its inception. This year we have the wonderfully presented and scented, L’Occitane Shea Hibiscus Solidarity Balm 2020 which is fairly priced at £5 and offers a multitude of uses.

Rather wonderfully the entire 100% of profits from the sale of each L’Occitane Shea Hibiscus Solidarity Balm, goes towards the L’Occitane Foundation. This is to support NGO projects that promote women’s leadership and supports economic independence within the African region of Burkina Faso – where the shea butter used to create the product (and many others within the L’Occitane product range) is sourced from.

The L’Occitane Shea Hibiscus Solidarity Balm 2020 comes housed in a bold, bright and beautiful tin that is compact enough to fit into most pockets and bags. The balm inside is constructed from no less than 97.6% Shea Butter making it perfect for use on the face, body, hands, feet and lips – really there is no shortage of uses for this multi-tasking balm. I personally enjoy dabbing a little of the lightly floral scented product onto my pulse-points, before spritzing on a little perfume, this gives my scent a little extra “kick” and also helps my fragrance wear a little longer. As with any nourishing balm, this is perfect for massaging into dry lips, cuticles and even sparingly combing through brows to keep them in place throughout the day.
