Elemis Pro-Collagen & British Botanical Skin Firming Collection

Elemis Pro-Collagen & British Botanical Skin Firming Collection

Please excuse the somewhat hasty post, I had anticipated my delivery of the Elemis 6-Piece Pro-Collagen & British Botanical Skin Firming Collection arriving a little sooner than it did and as such with it apparently selling like hotcakes, I’d be doing any Elemis fan a disservice if I did not flag up the deal as soon as humanly possible.

Once again Elemis has joined forces with QVC to offer a fantastic and exclusive deal, featuring no less than 6 full size Elemis products and a free tote bag for £69.96 – the retail value is £225, so I think we can all agree that it is a fairly momentous saving! As with all great offers, this is fairly limited both in stock and time frame with the special value offer only running from the 21st-26th of July 2020 via QVC.

Nestled inside a bright, bold and frankly very useful Elemis tote bag you will find:
Elemis Cleansing Micellar Water 200ml (rrp £26)
Elemis Pro-Collagen Super Serum Elixir 15ml (rrp £56)
Elemis Pro-Collagen Overnight Matrix 30ml (rrp £148)
– Elemis British Botanical Bath & Shower Cream 300ml
– Elemis British Botanical Body Cream 120ml
– Elemis British Botanical Hand & Nail Butter 50ml

Elemis Pro-Collagen & British Botanical Skin Firming Collection

So in essence, you have three skincare products and three items for your body, fans of the Pro-Collagen range don’t need me to say just how wonderful they are for plumping and smoothing the skin and the Elemis Cleansing Micellar Water is perfect for a first cleanse or simply for travel and on-the-go skin emergencies.

Elemis Pro-Collagen & British Botanical Skin Firming Collection

As for the three body products? They are a treat to not only the skin but also the senses, the beautiful British Botanical aroma is heavenly, it is fragrant with beautiful floral notes yet not overwhelmingly so; it will remind you of a British garden – complete with herbs – fully in Bloom. I can’t think of a better fragrance to scent a Summer staycation and in the case of the hand and nail butter, a more necessary product for weathered hands thanks to all the extra washing! As it currently stands you can not purchase any of the British Botanical products individually.
You can purchase the Elemis 6-Piece Pro-Collagen & British Botanical Skin Firming Collection via QVC here for £69.96 – link.

Lesser Known Fragrance Brands for Father’s Day

Lesser Known Male Fragrance Brands

It’s been an odd few months hasn’t it? With next to no shops currently open for obvious reasons you may be at a loss as what to purchase a loved one for Father’s Day? I know the category of fragrance isn’t exactly groundbreaking but you could use the upcoming event to dip into some lesser known yet wonderfully constructed fragrance brands.

Notebook Fragrances

This beautiful, affordable (just £15.99 for a huge 100ml bottle), Italian brand is a glorious blend of substance and style, the beautiful boxes (and scents), complete with inner gift card, make gifting a breeze and with seven fragrances to chose from, there should be something for everyone.

My picks for Father’s Day are: Notebook Fragrances Patcholi & Cedarwood Eau de Toilette for Him; deep, musky, woody and aromatic – it is sophisticated without being overpowering nor stuffy and should appeal to most wearers of gentleman’s fragrance. For something a little more aquatic and dare I say lighter, I would recommend Notebook Fragrances White Wood & Vetiver, it is fresh, cooling and a little sporty – perfect for the warmer weather or perhaps more casual endeavours.

As a side note, I am going to invest in a few of the female aimed scents within the Notebook Fragrance line and will report back. You can shop all seven Notebook Fragrance Eau de Toilette – here £15.99/100ml – link.

Banana Republic

If you have yet to experience any of the Banana Republic Eau de Parfum’s you are truly missing out; well priced, luxurious, oddly readily available in retailers such as Superdrug and yet the packaging hints at something far more up scale than your local pharmacist!

As this is a Father’s Day article, I thought I’d mention a brilliantly unisex and ultimately easy fragrance by the brand – Banana Republic Neroli Woods Eau de Parfum. Again this is fresh and carefree, with notes of Neroli and Orange Blossom; it has a certain Tom Ford quality thanks to the addition of Neroli but without the hefty price tag (currently just £25).

You can find it here for £25/75ml – link.

Yardley

Once upon a time, we associated Yardley with lavender and perhaps our grandmothers? Well the brand has shaken off it’s once stuff image and now offers a whole array of products for every taste and budget. Over the last few years I have found myself growing quite fond of a few of their fragrances and have found a wonderful one for Father’s Day in Yardley Gentleman Urbane Eau de Parfume.

With notes of bergamot, lavender, thyme, tarragon, sandalwood, patchouli and musk this is the most aromatic and dare I say complex scent within my run down. It is modern yet classic and should appeal to men of all ages, it is a rare scent in which it is perfect for work and play.

You can find it here for £15.99/100ml – link.
