Best Beauty Products for Long Haul Flights 2026

As someone who is currently planning a long-haul beach holiday, I have been thinking a lot about what beauty products are actually worth packing in my hand luggage. If you’re heading off on a long-haul journey this summer, choosing the right beauty products for long haul flights can make a huge difference to how your skin feels when you land.

When you’re spending hours in air-conditioned cabin air, it’s all too easy for skin to end up feeling dehydrated, tight and generally a bit lacklustre. Over the years, I’ve learnt that a few carefully chosen products can make a huge difference to how your skin looks and feels when you land.

Start with Hydrated Skin

Best Beauty Products for Long Haul Flights 2026 – Serums

The best thing you can do for your skin on a flight is to make sure it’s well hydrated before you even get on the plane so hydrating serums come top of the list of beauty beauty products for long haul flights.

I like to apply a hydrating serum before moisturiser and SPF, focusing on ingredients like hyaluronic acid, glycerin and panthenol that help attract and retain moisture.

One of the newest additions to my travel beauty bag is the RoC Hydra+ Hyaluronic Serum Stick. It’s cooling, incredibly easy to use and completely mess-free. You can swipe it over your skin whenever you feel a bit dry, making it ideal for flights, beach holidays and hot weather in general.

I am a big believer in using serums every day. For all my recommendations for a range of skin types and concerns, read Best Serums for 2026 – all Skin Types & Budgets.

Don’t Skip a Good Moisturiser

I know some people like to keep their skincare very minimal when travelling, but I always make room for a nourishing moisturiser.

Cabin air can be surprisingly harsh on the skin barrier and I find that using a slightly richer cream than usual helps keep everything feeling comfortable throughout the journey.

For overnight flights especially, I prefer to focus on hydration rather than wearing lots of makeup.

Best Beauty Products for Long Haul Flights 2026 - Creme de La Mer
Best Beauty Products for Long Haul Flights 2026 – Creme de La Mer

My favourite moisturiser for this is La Mer Creme de La Mer* which is expensive but absolutely amazing. Whenever my skin needs some TLC, I reach for it and it just seems to fix things. It tackles redness, irritation and inflammation in one layer. I love it.

SPF Is Still Essential

One beauty product I never travel without is SPF.

If you’re sitting by the window, UV exposure can be higher than you might expect, and if you’re landing somewhere sunny, you’ll want protection from the moment you arrive. One of my current favourites is Mimétique Everyday50 Invisible Face Fluid as it has loads of skincare in too, and a gorgeous serum-y texture. You can get 15% off HERE* with code REE15.

SPF sticks have also become one of my favourite travel discoveries because they’re so easy to use on the go. No spills, no liquid restrictions and no need to get product all over your hands.

A few favourites include:

  • Shiseido Expert Sun Protector Clear Stick SPF 50+
  • Clarins Invisible Sun Care Stick SPF50

They’re brilliant for topping up protection during travel days and throughout your holiday.

Keep Lips Comfortable

My lips are always one of the first areas to suffer on a flight.

A good lip balm doesn’t sound particularly exciting, but it is one of those products that you’ll be grateful to have with you after a few hours in the air.

I tend to choose richer formulas that provide lasting comfort rather than anything too glossy or lightweight. My favourite is another posh one from La Mer* but I can’t help it, it’s just the best!

If you want something that’s highly effective but also has a bit of colour, I have to recommend my own REESON Glossing Balms*. They are completely non-sticky, deeply hydrating and moisturising, and they look great too!

Refresh Tired Eyes

Whether it’s an overnight flight, an early morning departure or simply travel excitement keeping you awake, the eye area often gives the game away.

A lightweight eye cream or a pair of hydrating eye patches can help you look a little more refreshed before you head off to baggage reclaim. The Grace & Stella Eye masks* are super affordable, effective and a joy to use, and they come in a whole range of different options to address different concerns.

It’s not a necessity, but it’s definitely one of those little luxuries I appreciate when travelling.

Don’t Forget Fragrance

This might sound slightly random, but applying fragrance before landing is one of my favourite travel rituals, as long as the fragrance isn’t too heavy.

After hours on a plane, a quick spritz of perfume somehow makes me feel instantly more put together and ready to start my trip. For news on a few of the latest summer launches that are light and won’t fill the cabin with strong smells, check out:

The Beauty Products for Long Haul Flights I Always Prioritise

If I had to narrow it down to the absolute essentials, I’d choose:

  • A hydrating serum
  • A nourishing moisturiser
  • A light SPF
  • A lip balm

These are the beauty products for long haul flights that genuinely help keep my skin comfortable and hydrated while travelling, and they don’t take up much room in your bag either.

The White Company Saint Florent Review: The New Spring/Summer 2026 Scent

I do love it when The White Company launches a new fragrance, and in my The White Company Saint Florent review, I’m taking a look at their new scent for spring and summer 2026. It immediately caught my attention because it has that effortlessly chic, just-back-from-holiday feel that’s perfect for the warmer months.

I’ve been testing the candle, the wash and the lotion to see how the fragrance performs across the range, and if you’re into clean, coastal, slightly sun-warmed skin vibes, this could be one to have on your radar.

The White Company Saint Florent Notes

Scent Notes: Sea Salt, Pear and Musk

The White Company Saint Florent notes strike a really beautiful balance between fresh and warm, which is exactly what you want from a spring/summer scent.

The brand have painted a picture of French island charm, where narrow streets lead down to a salt-sprayed harbour and the air feels both fresh and sun-warmed at the same time.

You get a crisp hit of sea salt, blended with uplifting green pear that adds a juicy brightness, while a base of soft musk brings that gentle, sun-dappled warmth.

It’s the kind of fragrance that works brilliantly in the home because it feels light and uplifting, but still has enough warmth to make it feel inviting.

The White Company Saint Florent 2 Wick Candle Review

2-Wick Candle Review

The White Company Saint Florent candle is classic White Company – minimal, chic, and designed to create atmosphere.

The scent throw is soft and refined, making it ideal if you want your home to feel gently fragranced rather than overwhelmed. It’s especially lovely for spring and summer evenings when you want something fresh but still comforting.

As the candle burns, you first notice a crisp, clean hit of sea salt. It gives that airy, coastal freshness that feels instantly uplifting, but it’s softened rather than sharp.

There’s then a subtle lift of green pear, which adds a juicy brightness through the heart of the fragrance, and blends beautifully with the coastal notes.

As it develops further, the base of soft musk comes through, wrapping everything in a gentle warmth. This is what gives the candle its comfort factor and it takes it from a fresh scent to something that feels lived-in, calming and quietly luxurious.

Hand Wash Review

The White Company Saint Florent hand wash is a really lovely everyday formula that feels a step up from the basics.

It has a gel texture that lathers nicely and cleanses effectively without stripping the skin. My hands feel comfortable after use, and the scent lingers just enough to notice. It’s a great way to introduce this spring/summer 2026 scent into your daily routine.

Hand Lotion Review

The White Company Saint Florent hand lotion is lightweight, fast-absorbing and very easy to use throughout the day.

It hydrates well without leaving any greasy residue, and layers beautifully with the hand wash to enhance the scent. Again, it keeps that fresh, airy feel that makes this range so perfect for the warmer months.

Final Thoughts

The White Company Saint Florent collection is a gorgeous addition to the brand’s fragrance lineup and feels perfectly pitched as a spring/summer 2026 scent.

It’s understated, elegant and incredibly easy to live with. If you enjoy subtle, sophisticated home fragrance that quietly elevates your space, this is definitely one to try.

Maison Margiela Replica Up At Dawn Review

If you’re a rose fragrance lover but struggle with anything too powdery, sweet or overpowering, I have a feeling this could be one for you. Maison Margiela Replica Up At Dawn Eau de Toilette is a beautifully soft, green take on rose that feels incredibly natural and atmospheric. Here’s what you need to know.

What is Maison Margiela Replica Up At Dawn?

What is Maison Margiela Replica Up At Dawn
What is Maison Margiela Replica Up At Dawn

This fragrance is part of the Replica collection from Maison Margiela, a line designed to capture moments and memories through scent.

Up At Dawn is inspired by that quiet, early morning feeling when everything is still cool, slightly misty, and covered in dew. It centres around rose, but with a fresh green twist and a soft, earthy base that makes it feel modern, light and very wearable.

The Notes

TOP NOTES: Pink pepper, Soil accord, Elemi oil

HEART NOTES: Rose heart absolute, Powdery orris, Ambrette absolute Guatemala

BASE NOTES: Musks, Patchouli-mossy woodiness, Cashmeran

Maison Margiela Replica Up At Dawn Eau de Toilette Review

Maison Margiela Replica Up At Dawn
Maison Margiela Replica Up At Dawn

On first spray, it feels instantly fresh, cool and slightly “wet”. There’s a dewy quality to it that genuinely smells like rose bushes covered in morning dew before the sun has properly risen.

It really reminded me of Stella by Stella McCartney Eau de Parfum. It has that same soft, feminine rose, but this feels like a more modern, grounded interpretation with its hit of earthiness. The rose is still delicate and romantic, but there’s an added hint of greenness and earth that gives it a much more natural feel.

You do get a touch of pink pepper at the start. It adds a tiny bit of sparkle, but it’s very subtle and disappears quite quickly.

My Review of Maison Margiela Replica Up At Dawn
My Review of Maison Margiela Replica Up At Dawn

How It Wears

What really stands out is just how realistic this fragrance is. It’s not about lush, velvety petals. I think this is about the entire rose bush. The green sharp freshness of the stem comes through and makes this feel quite unique.

As it develops, the earthy notes become more noticeable. It’s not heavy or muddy but more of a clean, mossy, slightly damp earthiness that sits under the rose.

The dry down is softly mossy and earthy, but still delicately floral. It wears quite close to the skin and feels very intimate. On me, the longevity isn’t amazing though.

The Vibe

This is a really evocative scent. It transports you to an English countryside garden in the early morning, and it has a real nostalgic feel. It feels feminine but not sweet and the whole composition is very delicate and understated. It gives me strong Downton Abbey energy!

That said, for me personally, this is where it becomes more of an appreciation than a full-on love.

I tend to gravitate towards deeper, darker, more intense rose fragrances. I love the kind that feel a bit more “serious” and statement-making, like Matiere Premiere Radical Rose Eau de Parfum or Tom Ford Rose Prick Eau de Parfum.

Those richer, more powerful roses give me a real sense of confidence. They feel bold, a bit more “heavyweight”, and like they properly announce themselves.

In comparison, this feels much lighter, prettier and more delicate. It’s effortlessly elegant, but it doesn’t quite give me that same sense of presence or impact.

My Overall Thoughts

I think this is such a pretty, wearable take on rose. Maison Margiela Replica Up At Dawn Eau de Toilette is fresh, dewy and softly earthy, with a really elegant, natural feel that makes it stand out from more traditional floral fragrances.

For me, it leans a little too light and delicate for everyday wear, simply because I tend to prefer something with more depth and intensity. However, if you love soft, realistic florals or you’re looking for a rose that feels fresh, green and quietly romantic, this is absolutely one to try.

It’s not loud or attention-seeking, just a very pretty, wearable take on rose.

If you’re looking for something more beachy for summer, that’s still subtle and in the skin scent arena, you might want to check out my Glossier You Soie Eau de Parfum Review and also my DedCool Mineral Milk Eau de Parfum Review.

Glossier You Soie Eau de Parfum Review - A New You for 2026

I’ve been so excited to write this review on the brand Glossier You Soie since I got my bottle at the Space NK fragrance event last week. It is the new addition to the Glossier You family, and I think it’s exactly what fans of the original have been hoping for – soft, cosy, sexy, and effortless scent for everyday. It has all the easy, skin-like vibes of Glossier You, but with a sun-kissed, warm, slightly indulgent twist. Here’s everything you need to know!

What is Glossier You Soie?

What is Glossier You Soie Eau de Parfum?
What is Glossier You Soie Eau de Parfum?

Glossier You Soie is described as a modern, wearable fragrance that’s subtle, personal, and a little more sensual than the original. At first spritz, it’s softly salty and clean, but it develops a creamy, cocoa butter-y warmth that makes it feel like sunlight on the skin.

The promo pictures show sandy beaches and a bright blue bottle, and while it’s not a literal “beach scent,” it does have this luminous, solar, slightly lactonic white floral vibe that feels light, bright, and happy.

The Notes

TOP NOTES – Bergamot

HEART NOTES – Rice Milk, Tiare Water, Evening Jasmine

BASE NOTES – Ambrox

My Review of Glossier You Soie Eau de Parfum
My Review of Glossier You Soie Eau de Parfum

First Impressions

The very first spritz of Glossier You Soie is fresh and softly citrusy but not for long at all. It seems to move quickly to the heart. It immediately feels approachable, like a fragrance you don’t have to think twice about, cosy and comfortable,

It quickly starts to evolve. The heart has a creamy, cocoa butter-y vibe, with a touch of white florals and a subtle hint of saltiness that adds a sun-kissed edge. It’s not a literal beach fragrance, but the saltiness gives it a light, luminous quality that feels warm and radiant. That is exactly what I was hoping for given the blue bottle and sandy promo imagery.

What I love is that this fragrance doesn’t try too hard. It hugs your skin in the best way, soft, cosy, slightly sexy, making it perfect for daytime wear or a casual evening out. True to the original You, it doesn’t say hello before you do – it’s more of little something that follows you around, leaving a natural, comforting trace.

How It Wears

Projection is subtle, which is perfect if you like fragrances that feel skin-like but noticeable. Longevity is solid, lasting a good few hours without fading into nothing.

The evolution is what makes it interesting. On first spray, you notice delicious musk that melts into creamy rice milk. There’s also a soft, salty nuance that adds a sun-kissed lift and makes the fragrance feel more summery and radiant. A touch of jasmine ties it all together, keeping it soft, intimate, and wearable.

If you want something subtle but undeniably pretty, this is for you. Honestly, I think this is going to go down really well with fans of wearable, skin-like fragrances that are still a little indulgent.

My Overall Thoughts

Overall, Glossier You Soie is everything I wanted from a new Glossier fragrance. I genuinely love this one. It is simple but indulgent, soft without being boring, easy to wear but still interesting. It is warmer, more sun-kissed, and flirtier than the original You, and I love that. Could it be a modern classic in the making? I definitely think it is going to be a huge hit.

Comparison With Original Glossier You

Soie takes the signature skin-like warmth of Glossier You and adds a sun-kissed twist. The original is bright, clean, and subtle, while Soie adds creamy, lactonic notes and gentle musk, making it slightly warmer, softer, and more indulgent.

Packaging & Bottle Design

Glossier You Soie Eau de Parfum Bottle
Glossier You Soie Eau de Parfum Bottle

The bottle for Glossier You Soie is a beautiful, deep blue, which might surprise some people who were expecting a “beachy” vibe. This is the deep blue sea. Think walking on the beach just after sunset, when the sky turns deep blue and the sand still holds the warmth of the day.

Price & Sizes

Available in standard Glossier You sizes. It is £70m for 50ml and £32 for 8ml. Prices vary depending on region, but it sits in the premium yet accessible range for modern luxury fragrances.

Creed Wild Vetiver Eau de Parfum Review

If you’re on the hunt for a fresh, modern luxury fragrance to see you through spring and summer, then this latest launch from Creed is definitely one to have on your radar. Creed Wild Vetiver feels like a confident, contemporary twist on a classic fresh fragrance, and if you love something uplifting with a slightly floral edge, this could be right up your street.

What is Creed Wild Vetiver?

Creed Wild Vetiver Eau de Parfum Review
Creed Wild Vetiver Eau de Parfum Review

Creed Wild Vetiver is a fresh, green, citrus-led fragrance with soft florals and a clean woody base. Despite the name, it’s less about smoky, rooty vetiver and more about a bright, wearable, contemporary freshness.

It’s definitely one of those fragrances you may start to reach for as Spring and Summer approaches.

Creed Wild Vetiver Notes

Top Notes: Bergamot, pink pepper, black pepper

Base Notes: Vetiver, soft woods, musky tones

Heart Notes: Rose, subtle fruity nuances (blackcurrant)

How Does Creed Wild Vetiver Smell?

The Opening

It starts with a burst of bright, green bergamot that feels incredibly fresh and energising. There’s a crispness to it that immediately gives that “clean skin” effect.

The addition of pink and black pepper is lovely. It adds a light sparkle and stops the citrus from feeling too sharp or predictable.

The Heart

As it settles, a soft floral note comes through, with rose taking centre stage. It’s fresh and airy rather than powdery, adding a gentle sweetness that makes the fragrance feel more rounded and wearable.

There’s also waft of blackcurrant that keeps everything juicy and prevents it from becoming too dry.

The Dry Down

The dry down is smooth, green and slightly woody. It has a hint of that green tea/verbena freshness that feels calm and polished. Interestingly, the vetiver is quite subtle. It adds structure and a touch of earthiness, but it never dominates the composition.

Performance & Longevity

I’d say that Creed Wild Vetiver is pretty long-lasting and I can still smell it on my skin at around the 6-hour mark. It is really fresh, clean and noticeable without being overpowering, and the bergamot note actually lingers for quite some time, which keeps the fragrance feeling bright throughout the wear.

Creed Wild Vetiver Review

Creed Wild Vetiver Eau de Parfum
Creed Wild Vetiver Eau de Parfum

I have to say, I think this is a really lovely release from Creed.

It takes a familiar citrus-fresh tried and tested formula and refines it into something that feels more modern and a little more unique. It’s bright, green, slightly floral and incredibly easy to wear.

I do think the name is slightly misleading. If you’re here for a bold vetiver moment, you won’t quite get that. But if you approach it as a fresh, citrus-floral with a soft woody base, it makes complete sense.

There’s also something very “expensive spa” about it. Clean, polished, and quietly luxurious, although that slightly soapy edge might not be for everyone. It’s definitely a unisex fragrance, although some may find it leans slightly feminine because of the rose. In fact, for guys, I think it’s the kind of scent that will get a lot of compliments precisely because it’s not overly macho or heavy.

Final Thoughts

I think Creed have done a great job with this. It feels current, versatile and genuinely enjoyable to wear. If you’re building your warm-weather fragrance wardrobe, this could be a very chic addition.

Where to buy it

Creed Wild Vetiver Eau de Parfum is £310 for 100ml and £220 for 50ml, available via the links below – 20% off via the Space NK link today until 27th March 26:
