I love to use an oil to remove my makeup and SPF at the end of the day, and this Gaia Skincare Crystal Cleansing Oil is absolutely excellent. Here’s everything you need to know.

What is Gaia Skincare Crystal Cleansing Oil?

Luxurious oil to milk cleanser
Lightweight texture
Works to purify the skin
Helps maintain the natural balance of the skin
Provides antioxidant and anti-inflammation benefits
Uses a blend of rose, chamomile, and hibiscus plant extracts
Can be used as a first or second cleanse, depending on preference
Plastic-free packaging and recycled carboard

Key Ingredients

Blend of rose, chamomile, and hibiscus plant extracts – provides anti-inflammation and anti-oxidant benefits whilst deeply cleansing the skin

Pomegranate seed oil – works to boost collagen

Camellia and Abyssinian oil – gently remove impurities whilst providing hydration

How to use it

For the best results, apply a couple of pumps to dry skin and massage it in. Add a splash of water to emulsify and create a milky consistency. You can rinse away or use a cloth to remove.

My Review of Gaia Skincare Crystal Cleansing Oil

Gaia Skincare Crystal Cleansing Oil texture

I have been using this cleanser for a couple of months now, and I loved it from the very first use. It has the most beautiful soft and luxurious texture, that literally feels like a hug for the face!

Although it feels super gentle and calming, it is very effective at immediately breaking down makeup, even long wear formulas. I love it for quickly removing mascara and I find it’s really gentle on my eyes, and never leaves a milky film like some cleansing oils can.

And I have to mention the scent. It smells absolutely heavenly and really makes cleansing a pure joy. It has a very relaxing and soothing aroma, that isn’t overpowering. I love it.

The packaging is lovely. I like the glass bottle and easy pump dispenser.

Until I tried this cleanser, I hadn’t heard of Gaia Skincare before and so I didn’t know what to expect. This has been a brilliant discovery and I’m excited to try more from the brand. I have also been loving their Crystal Purifying Toner which is great for hydration, balancing an oily t-zone and also calming redness.
