Formula & Wear

I’m obsessed with how soft and buttery these glide on. There’s no chalky tug you sometimes get with lip liners. The formula is creamy enough to blend before setting, yet once it sets, it doesn’t budge. The finish is soft, smoother than a traditional lip liner but still pigmented like a proper contour liner should be.

These pencils are buttery yet structured enough to hold a sharp tip for precise application. They glide easily and build nicely for more intensity if you want it.

My one tip: keep a sharpener handy for clean, precise lines, it makes a noticeable difference with these creamy pencils.

The formula is where these pencils really stand out. They are soft and silky, making application effortless, but set quickly enough to prevent feathering. Unlike many long-wear liners, they don’t dry out the lips, and the colour remains true from morning coffee to evening plans.

How I Wear Them:

  • Alone: Gives a soft, semi-matte finish. Perfect for everyday polished lips.
  • With Balm: Adds moisture and shine without compromising longevity. Ideal for dry lips or a glossier look.

My favourite shade is Hayley because it makes such a gorgeous natural looking lip contour and pairs beautifully with my REESON Glossing Balm in Dewy Rose*.

How to use the REESON Beauty Highlighter Duo

This highlighter is so easy to use. You can use either the balm or the powder alone, or layer them for a custom finish.

I like to use the Powder first, and then apply the Balm on top to melt in the powder highlighter and give the skin a really diffused glow.

For a more amped up gleam, you can use the balm first and then set it with the powder highlighter. This is a higher shine finish but still super flattering and skin smoothing.

Finally, if you like, you can mix the balm and powder together and apply at once. Have a play.
