If you’ve been on the hunt for a collagen supplement that actually delivers, chances are you’ve heard of Absolute Collagen. I’ve known about the brand for years, but it wasn’t until recently that I really got into a proper routine with the Absolute Collagen Crystal Clarity Marine Collagen Powder, and let me tell you, I am officially hooked. Here’s everything you need to know.

Absolute Collagen is one of the original collagen brands in the UK, and their Marine Collagen Powder is designed to help support skin hydration, elasticity, and hair health. The Crystal Clarity variant is tasteless, making it super versatile. You can mix it into water, smoothies, or even coffee.
Some highlights:
I recently had a very quick chat with Claire Coleman, a hugely respected investigative beauty journalist, about collagen supplements. Claire is usually skeptical about ingestible collagen, but she did say that Absolute Collagen is one of the few brands with solid clinical studies.
The brand has been around for years, and it’s always reassuring when a supplement has both a reputation and evidence to back it up.
I’m very committed to taking collagen daily because I notice real benefits for my skin and hair when I am consistent. My usual routine is:
I usually mix collagen into water with an effervescent vitamin C tablet, which works well. But since I’ve been using the Absolute Collagen supplement, I have been having it in coffee.
Surprisingly, it makes even instant coffee taste like a coffee shop brew. I have my first coffee with collagen, my second coffee without, and honestly the second one just doesn’t taste as good anymore!
Morning coffee: This is a game-changer. I attended a press day at PURE PR recently, where they were serving Collagen Coffee using this exact powder. It tasted amazing, so they sent me home with a 2-week supply, and now I’m hooked.

I put it in with the instant coffee (Nescafe Gold Blend!) then add the water and mix. Then I add milk. Simple!

I should be upfront. It’s hard to say exactly what the benefits are, because I’m very consistent with taking some type of collagen daily. I’ve used Vida Glow, Pura (various kinds), and Dose & Co over the years, so I’m not coming to this product as a true “first-time collagen tester.”
That said, what I can say is that I genuinely enjoy taking this powder. It’s easy to incorporate into my routine, tastes great in coffee, and makes sticking to a daily habit more enjoyable. On top of that, I do feel my skin is soft and smooth, and my hair looks healthier when I’m consistent, so it’s definitely holding its own among the other brands I’ve used.
Pros:
Cons:
Yes. Marine collagen peptides can support skin elasticity, hydration, and hair strength. Consistent daily use is key.
You can mix it into water, juice, smoothies, or coffee. I personally love it in my morning coffee and it even enhances the taste!
Absolute Collagen is one of the few brands with peer-reviewed clinical studies supporting its effectiveness.
Many users notice improvements in skin hydration and hair strength within 4-6 weeks of daily use.
Yes, marine collagen is generally safe for most people. However, check for allergies to fish if you have sensitivities.
If you’re serious about incorporating collagen into your daily routine, Absolute Collagen Crystal Clarity Marine Collagen Powder is a must-try. It’s easy to use, backed by science, and honestly, it makes my morning coffee taste amazing, which is a win in my book.
I’ve been taking collagen consistently for years, and I think this one can be trusted to deliver visible results for both skin and hair.
Whether you want a fuss-free way to boost your daily collagen intake or just want to upgrade your morning coffee, this powder is worth a try.

When it comes to winding down, I’ve tried my fair share of “nighttime” supplements, all in the pursuit of that elusive deep, restorative sleep. So when I discovered the You’re Looking Well Night Pill, a supplement that promises to help you relax, sleep better, and wake up glowing, I had to give it a go.

The You’re Looking Well Night Pill is a simple, one-a-night supplement formulated to help promote relaxation and better-quality sleep. It’s marketed as a beauty-meets-wellness supplement – something to support not just sleep, but also how you feel and look the next morning.
The capsule contains a mix of bio-active elements and antioxidants to increase the duration and quality of sleep, plus ingredients to protect and help rejuvenate the skin.
Key benefits promised:
Magnesium – improves sleep quality and duration
L-theanine – benefits for mood and sleep regulation
Grape seed extract – polyphenol-rich grape seed extract protects against premature skin ageing
Copper and selenium – shields skin from oxidative stress

I’ve always taken magnesium to help with relaxation, but I’ll be honest, my previous regular magnesium supplement didn’t always agree with me. It sometimes upset my stomach, which completely defeated the purpose of taking something to relax!
That’s why I was really drawn to the You’re Looking Well Night Pill. It uses magnesium glycinate, which is known to be much gentler on digestion, and I can confirm that it’s been completely comfortable for me.
I take one tablet around half an hour before bed, ideally just before doing skincare routine and pottering around before getting into bed. That half-hour seems to make all the difference. It genuinely brings an enhanced sense of calm, and I can feel my body starting to unwind.
After the first few nights, I noticed I was falling asleep more quickly, which for me is a real win. It doesn’t knock you out, but instead just helps you feel more naturally ready for sleep. It often feels a bit like my mind has finally agreed to slow down.
I still tend to wake up a few times in the night (to be honest, I’ve never found anything that completely stops that), but I do feel more settled overall. And importantly, I wake up without any grogginess.
What stood out most for me was how gentle this supplement feels. It’s soothing, effective, and kind on the stomach which is a big upgrade from my old magnesium routine.
I’d recommend the You’re Looking Well Night Pill to anyone who:
It’s not a magic pill (and as I said, I still wake up in the night), but it’s a great supplement for helping me drift off calmly and naturally.
The You’re Looking Well Night Pill is a brilliant addition to any evening routine. It is elegant, effective, and simple. I love that it’s just one tablet, easy to digest, and genuinely helps me feel more relaxed before bed.
If you’re looking to fall asleep faster, feel more at ease before bedtime, or simply support your beauty sleep naturally, this is definitely one to look into.

The You’re Looking Well Night Pill is £32.50 for 30 days or £78.50 for 90 days, available via the brand’s own website, and Space NK, linked below:
