Space.NK Shimmering Spice Candle

Space.NK Shimmering Spice Candle Review

There’s lots of things that cement the arrival of the festive period, one of which has to be the scent of the Space.NK Shimmering Spice Candle. Each year I purchase one of the beautiful packaged candles and burn it almost religiously up until the main event, slowly but surely it has become both a rather wonderful household tradition for myself and so many others I know too.

Space.NK Shimmering Spice Candle Review

As much as I do enjoy the gentle aroma of the Space.NK Shimmering Spice Candle, I can’t say I am a huge fan of the packaging this year; it is a little too gaudy and bold for my personal (albeit boring) taste. I can however overlook such aspect and appreciate that Space.NK do give the candle a face lift each year something other companies fail to do, so there’s bound to be the odd design that doesn’t quite set my soul on fire, every now and then.

Space.NK Shimmering Spice Candle Review

In a bid to stop waffling on about candles, I will keep this feature short and sweet: a rich and almost savoury blend of cinnamon, cedar and general spice notes. It manages the near impossible in that it isn’t your typical winter seasonal scent; there’s no sickly sweet note but rather it’s akin to a a fruity alcoholic punch, paired with the welcoming fragrance of a pine wreath on a wooden door. I know that’s a lot to take in but it essentially smells just like all the best parts of the festive season and perhaps this is why so many deem the Space.NK Shimmering Spice Candle to be the ultimate Christmas candle.

Space.NK Shimmering Spice Candle Review

If you are struggling with a gift for someone or simply want to make the run up to the big day that little more festive, you could do a lot worse than picking up a Space.NK Shimmering Spice Candle or two.

The Easiest Way to Save Money on Beauty Essentials

Cosmetify Beauty Haul

– Sponsored Feature – In an attempt to stop frivolously spending I am actively avoiding beauty sales and shopping with a purpose and only seeking out items that I truly want and/or need. That’s not to say that I don’t appreciate a good bargain because I do but it is time I stepped up and became more fiscally responsible. If this sounds familiar then may I be the one to introduce you to Cosmetify?

Cosmetify Beauty Haul
Cosmetify Beauty Haul

In a nutshell Cosmetify is a comparison website that allows you to quickly and easily save money on beauty products, fragrance and much, much more. At a quick glance Cosmetify is your beauty saving portal to no less than 1,710 brands, 216.650 products and 38 retailers, with an average saving of 34%. – that’s a serious chunk of change.

Unlike other sites of this nature Cosmetify is beautifully laid out with sections dedicated to individual brands, trending products and even quick access to items that neatly slot into key phrases such as “cruelty free” and “paraben free”. I particularity enjoy this aspect as it allows me to discover new products that I may not have considered and in some instances brands that have slipped under my radar. Another wonderful and much needed feature is that should any of your desired products be out of stock, then you can instantly sign up to be alerted of any potential restocks – great for limited edition items and of course any much coveted gifts.

However you chose to utilise Cosmetify the outcome is that you will always be matched with the cheapest price meaning you save money each and every time. Transparency is key to Cosmetify and as such you will always be informed about each retailers individual delivery options, including time frames and of course cost.

Now it wouldn’t be a full review if I didn’t try out the service for myself so I dusted off my every growing beauty wishlist and ticked off a few items I have been desperate to try out. Rather wonderfully not only was everything I wanted in stock but I had access to slightly trickier to source brands such as Huda Beauty. Essentially Cosmetify redirects you to the cheapest merchant for your desired product so I did have to deal with a few separate parcels arriving but that is hardly a hardship in order to save quite a few pounds.

Cosmetify Beauty Haul

I can truly say that I will be running any future beauty purchases through Cosmetify in the future; quick, easy and as I’m saving money I don’t nearly feel half as guilty when treating myself to a few new bits and bobs.

You can discover Cosmetify for yourself here – link.

The New Tony Moly Sheet Masks Review

The New Tony Moly Sheet Masks Review

One of my most popular posts to date is a full review of Tony Moly’s I’m Real Sheet Masks it still garners a hefty amount of traffic each month, continually posing questions within my inbox in regards to stockists and expansions across the line. Well the good news is that as the years have passed Tony Moly is far more accessible within the UK; perhaps even more thrilling is that the newest drop of Tony Moly masks that were once exclusive to Sephora, can now be quickly found online. If your sheet masks stash needs shaken up, here are six new-ish Tony Moly launches to try…

The New Tony Moly Sheet Masks Review

Tony Moly I’m Acerola Sheet Mask
After a quick Google search I have discovered that Acerola is a form of Cherry and naturally rich in Vitamin C as well as Vitamin A and Niacin, all of which are of course great for the skin especially in regards to brightening dull complexions, blemish control and to an extent often used for treating fine lines. Admittedly the benefits of a sheet mask are limited as they are a throw away product but if you are looking for something to instantly plump and revive the skin this is what you have been searching for. I’d personally squirrel this aside for an important event, night out or any occasion you want your skin to be truly radiant…even if just temporarily.

The New Tony Moly Sheet Masks Review

Tony Moly I’m Charcoal Sheet Mask
If you have blemish prone skin you may struggle to find a suitable sheet mask as most are aimed at quickly hydrating the skin with very few being catered to oilier skins. If this is a category that you fall into then you may want to try the Tony Moly I’m Charcoal Sheet Mask which gently re-balances the complexion without stripping or drying the skin out. As an added bonus as it is loaded with natural charcoal it may help to reduce the size and inflammation of existing blemishes.

The New Tony Moly Sheet Masks Review

Tony Moly I’m Cherry Blossom Sheet Mask
Admittedly as far as ingredients go this has to be the most basic of the bunch but on the plus side it may just be the prettiest, not to mention it smells great. As you can most likely imagine this does little else other than quickly moisturise your skin but it does so in a light and refreshing manner making it suitable for just about every skin type.

The New Tony Moly Sheet Masks Review

Tony Moly I’m Ginseng Sheet Mask
Every now and then I stumble across a sheet mask that more than delivers and the Tony Moly I’m Real Ginseng Sheet Mask slots neatly into that category. Enriched with Ginseng which is said to brighten, this mask quickly leaves the skin with a glow that is on par with the after effects of a facial.

The New Tony Moly Sheet Masks Review

Tony Moly I’m Pearl Sheet Mask
The colder months do have a tendency to create dull and dry skin, now the Tony Moly I’m Real Pearl Sheet Mask may not be a permanent remedy to all of your problems but if in a pinch it does give all but immediate results. After one use your skin will have a glass like appearance which may not solve all your skin woes but it is a good starting place.

The New Tony Moly Sheet Masks Review

Tony Moly I’m Real Pumpkin Mask Sheet

As it is still technically Autumn, I can imagine most of us will naturally gravitate towards the Tony Moly I’m Real Pumpkin Mask Sheet to compliment a spooky move or two – it is the season of pumpkins after all. The good news is that as pumpkins are naturally great for the skin and full of Vitamin C a little of those antioxidants can be found within said sheet mask to help boost collagen production for plumper skin. This could be a great addition to any anti-ageing routine.

You can find all of the above via Notino for £6.10 each – link.
