Daily SPF is something I take very seriously. It is the cornerstone of my skincare routine, and I never miss it. For that reason, I am always interested in formulas that not only protect but also make it easy to use. Like most people, I find reapplication a challenge and so when I was introduced to Klira The Dayscript which promises 8 hours of sun protection in one application at an event earlier this summer, I was eager to try it. It combines:
High-level UV protection with SPF50 PA++++ and encapsulated sunscreen technology for up to 8 hours of protection.
Antioxidants including resveratrol bioferment, ubiquinone, Phytexcell Liquorice, and Vitamin E, which defend against oxidative stress, pollution, and visible light damage.
Peptides to support collagen and maintain firmness.
Hydrating ingredients for comfort throughout the day.
Soothing actives to calm and strengthen the skin barrier.
Crucially, this is not a generic formula. It is tailored to your SkinSize profile, identified via an online consultation, ensuring you receive the precise formulation that aligns with your skin’s needs.
The Science Behind It
Daytime is when the skin is most exposed to stressors such as UV rays, pollution, and oxidative damage. It is also when DNA repair enzymes are at their most active, and antioxidant defences are in demand.
The Dayscript is designed to map directly onto this daytime molecular profile, supporting:
DNA repair when it is most needed

I have been testing it over the past few months, and here are my considered thoughts.
My Experience
I trialled The Dayscript from a plain sample tube, which made the experience feel almost like testing a secret prototype.
The texture is lightweight and smooth, blending easily without leaving residue, pilling, or a white cast. It feels hydrating, yet weightless, and crucially, it sits beautifully beneath makeup. In fact, it functions very effectively as a primer, helping foundation to apply evenly and last longer.

I generally apply two layers, three pumps each, which provides ample coverage. Knowing that the encapsulated sunscreen technology is delivering up to 8 hours of protection gives me enormous peace of mind, especially on days when reapplication isn’t practical. Game changer!!

How It Compares to Klira’s Night Product
Klira’s original launch was a one-step night treatment. While I admire the innovation, I must admit I found it difficult to embrace. I enjoy the ritual of layering different treatments at night, and the Klira night formula did not feel sufficient for my skin’s hydration needs.
The Dayscript, however, is entirely different. It is practical, protective, and perfectly suited to mornings, particularly when time is short. This is the product from Klira that I can genuinely integrate into my lifestyle.
Subscription and Personalisation
The Dayscript can be purchased individually, but Klira recommends the auto-replenish subscription. This ensures you receive a fresh formulation each month (potency is prioritised) and gives you access to Klira’s Dermatology Team for ongoing support. Subscriptions also provide a cost saving, which makes sense for a product designed for daily use.
Results
I have really enjoyed using this over the summer and here are my summarised thoughts on it:
Confidence in sun protection – I felt assured wearing this all day without topping up
Hydration and comfort – my skin remained balanced and comfortable throughout wear
Enhanced makeup performance – I think using less product genuinely improved makeup longevity
Simplicity – one step in the morning, no risk of ingredient incompatibility.
Although I still enjoy experimenting with other product combinations, on long days out, particularly in the sun, this is the formula I prioritise.

For me, Klira The Dayscript represents a genuine step forward in intelligent, dermatologist-designed skincare. It streamlines the morning routine without compromise, provides reliable long-lasting protection, and enhances the performance of makeup.
It is rare to find a product that feels both practical and sophisticated. The Dayscript achieves this balance, and I can see it becoming indispensable for those who value efficiency, efficacy, and for anyone that wants to reapply sunscreen but find it really hard to do that!

NEOM Advent Calendar 2025 Review
I have to say, I’m really impressed with the NEOM Advent Calendar 2025. It’s such a beautiful edit of the brand’s wellness favourites, and it feels really thoughtful. I love that there are 10 full-sized products in here, so it doesn’t feel like you’re just collecting minis. The Perfect Night’s Sleep Mist is one of my absolute favourites. It’s worth £25 alone and always makes such a difference to my bedtime routine.
The Sparkling Joy Essential Oil Blend is a brand new festive fragrance, and it’s gorgeous. It’s really bright, uplifting, and instantly puts me in a Christmas mood. I first saw the experience about 2-3 years ago on my fyp and its always been on my mind, this year for Yasmin birthday I finally decided to do it!
Without giving too much away, the Avora immersive experience is one of the popular experiences in London. The concept is simple: you are a top research scientist and you have been invited to a trip to Avora, to learn about the planet and the people. The experience comes with 3 drinks and these can be with or without alcohol. They will ask your preference at the door. And please remember to bring your ID! Don’t let the outside throw you off! I legit thought I was in the wrong place
This was my first immersive experience and whilst I didn’t know what to expect I was really excited. The actors were phenomenal- they really get into character and its very interactive- your willingness to also get into it with the actors and your group will make your experience more enjoyable. I was called up to be the doctor who brought the music- LMAO!
Avora is a beautiful planet filled with very curious Avorians. You learn about them, explore their world and ‘drink to survive’
My overall experience is really positive. The actors were great! The experience starts pretty much once you book because you will receive an NDA to sign prior to your experience! The drinks were really good ( strong for me haha) and you get given a special spacesuit to complete your experience! It very much gave Avatar vibes. I highly recommend it.
My only con was that I wish there was more of Avora to explore. In total we went into 3 rooms with a new drink in each room but I wish there were 5 rooms/areas to explore with the drinks more spaced out. The tickets are kinda pricey £49.50 ( peak time) but think of it as paying for the drinks with a show. I think tickets are slightly cheaper during the week.
We saw Alcatraz next door- I think they are from the same company, another popular immersive experience- I’m not quite sure if I want to do that one.
