For something a little more affordable yet super high quality and gorgeous, you can’t beat Space NK’s Shimmering Spice. It is one of my Christmas icons.

Goutal Christmas Candles 2024

I love the Goutal Christmas candle. It is so festive, and it really fills a room, even before it is lit!! It is called Une Forêt d’Or Limited-Edition Candle and it’s the freshest, most authentic take on pine with a hint of orange rind.

Cowshed Winter Candle 2024

Although not just a Christmas candle, the three-wick Cowshed Winter Room Candle is perfect for the festive period because it is so cosy and comforting.

NEOM candles are amazing. I love Christmas Wish which is a lovely sweet, cinnamony affair. It is formulated with a blend of 13 pure essential oils and includes mandarin, cinnamon and tonka bean. My Review

The Shimmering Spice scent has become one of my all time favourite festive treats and I know I’m not alone. So many readers now buy this Christmas Candle religiously every year because it smells amazing, burns evenly and slowly, and keeps your room fragranced for hours. For such a great quality candle, the price point (£28) is absolutely brilliant.

I love the scent of this candle. It is so beautiful and fills the house with long lasting scent really quickly. I have more expensive candles that don’t achieve the distance this one does! This year’s candle has the same scent as previous years, which of course is excellent news. It is available now at Space NK HERE*.

If you are ever having trouble getting into the Christmas spirit, light this gorgeous thing and you’ll be half way there!

I am so impressed by this calendar. It is absolutely stuffed full of products and it’s a great edit of some real heritage icons mixed with some newer launches. Also, it covers skincare, body care and makeup, so it’s perfect to get you set for the festive season.

I love the packaging. It’s so festive and fun and would double as the perfect Christmas decoration or centrepiece, and I love the way it is arranged, with boxes and drawers around the whole house shaped box.

I think what’s great is that you get a full skincare routine from eye makeup remover, cleansing and toning, to serum, eye care, moisturisers, and masks. There’s also a full range of body care for top to toe pampering.

The Advent Calendar also contains some of my makeup favourites. The Clarins Lip Comfort Oil is an absolute icon, and we get 2 shades in this set, one of which is full size! I also love Clarins mascara and there are 2 to discover in here, plus a mascara-serum lash boosting hybrid. I can’t wait to try that.

There’s a great number of full sizes in here so I think this is ideal for Clarins hardcore fans, and also those beauty junkies that are keen to explore more from this amazing brand.

This calendar has a great blend of full-size and travel-size offerings across a really brilliant selection of different types of products.

Until now, I haven’t had the opportunity to try any of the Aman products, and I have to say, I am really impressed. It is all about serenity and tranquility which can be pretty hard to achieve especially at this time of year! But just unboxing the products for my video (see below) really sent me to a beautiful place of calm because all the aromas and textures are so beautiful!

The bath and body products are stunning. I have used the milk bath followed by the body oil and it left my skin next-level soft. I am desperate to try more.

I’m also super excited to try the skincare products properly as the textures are stunning. If you are looking for something extremely elegant and also different to your average beauty advent calendar, this is the one to go for!

How to use Tatcha The Indigo Cleansing Balm

You can use the spatula to pick up the product and then warm it up in dry hands before applying to dry skin.

Massage into the skin for about a minute, then add a little water to emulsify. You can remove with a wet cloth or by rinsing away with water.

I love a cleansing balm, and I am yet to meet a Tatcha product I haven’t liked, so I was prepped and prime to love Tatcha The Indigo Cleansing Balm. No surprises, I do!

So first of all, I love the texture of this cleansing balm. It is buttery soft and melts into an oil effortlessly with the warmth of my fingertips. The oil glides over the skin so nicely, and starts breaking down makeup very quickly.

I spend a bit of extra time massaging it over my eyes to remove eye makeup, and it doesn’t sting or sensitise them at all. With a splash of water, it turns into a gorgeous silky milk that helps to further lift away dirt and impurities. I like to use a flannel to remove it, but it also rinses away with just water.

The Tatcha The Indigo Cleansing Balm leaves my skin feeling clean, soft and smooth, and is very effective at getting all my makeup off.

The feeling of hydration is impressively long lasting which I absolutely love. If you have dry skin, you will really enjoy this cleansing balm. When I wanted to double cleanse, I find this pairs really nicely with a gel cleanser and goes beautifully with Tatcha The Matcha Cleanse (review here), which is a gentle foaming cleanser that I really enjoy.
