Joonbyrd Longevity Duo Review: Future Romance Body Glaze & Big Time Body Wash

I’ve been testing the newest launches from Dr Alexis Granite, the Joonbyrd Longevity Duo – the Future Romance Longevity Body Glaze and Big Time Longevity Body Wash, and it’s definitely one of those body care drops that feels like it’s trying to do something a bit different.

I’m not entirely convinced anyone is searching for “longevity body care” just yet, but the concept is interesting. Instead of quick fixes or instant glow, this duo is all about supporting your skin over time in terms of hydration, resilience, and overall skin health rather than overnight transformation.

Joonbyrd Longevity Duo: What You Need to Know

Joonbyrd Longevity Duo Review: Future Romance Body Glaze & Big Time Body Wash
Joonbyrd Longevity Duo Review: Future Romance Body Glaze & Big Time Body Wash

The Joonbyrd Longevity Duo is a two-step bodycare routine designed to bring skincare-style thinking to your body routine.

  • Big Time Longevity Body Wash – a treatment-led cleanser
  • Future Romance Longevity Body Glaze – a hydrating, skin-conditioning finish

The formulas are built around Joonbyrd’s ALXmd04™ technology, which targets hydration, skin resilience and long-term radiance at a deeper level. The idea is that consistent use helps improve:

  • skin barrier strength
  • hydration levels
  • texture and tone over time

What Does “Longevity Body care” Actually Mean?

“Longevity” is very much a buzzword right now, but in practical terms, it’s about:

  • maintaining healthy skin function
  • supporting the microbiome
  • protecting against environmental stress
  • keeping skin hydrated and resilient

Joonbyrd positions this as preventative body care rather than corrective, which is actually quite a smart shift away from traditional “anti-ageing” messaging.

Joonbyrd Big Time Longevity Body Wash Review

Joonbyrd Big Time Body Wash
Joonbyrd Big Time Body Wash

This isn’t just a basic shower gel. It’s designed to act as a treatment step within your routine.

The formula includes:

  • Hyaluronic acid to help lock in moisture
  • Panthenol and allantoin for soothing and conditioning
  • Botanical extracts and ferments to support the skin barrier and microbiome

It also uses plant-derived cleansing agents to remove impurities while maintaining hydration.

Texture & Application

The texture is just gorgeous. It feels so soft and cocooning and it turns into a rich, luxurious foam, which already makes it feel a bit more elevated than your average body wash. A little goes a long way, so you won’t need to worry too much about getting through the bottle too fast.

It leaves my skin feeling super soft and smooth, and really calm and hydrated. It’s delightful. Also, I love the smell. I never really thought that I’d like a banana body wash but this is absolutely gorgeous. It’s warm and creamy and extremely comforting. There’s something really familiar about it, but also quite different!

Future Romance Longevity Body Glaze Review

Joonbyrd Future Romance Body Glaze
Joonbyrd Future Romance Body Glaze

This is the second step, and where things get a bit more “skincare meets bodycare.”

Formula & Key Ingredients

The Body Glaze is packed with:

  • Grape flower exosomes (with resveratrol) to support repair
  • Hyaluronic acid + glycerin for hydration
  • Squalane and shea butter for nourishment
  • Adaptogenic botanicals and antioxidants for protection

It’s designed to help:

  • strengthen the skin barrier
  • improve smoothness
  • boost radiance over time

Texture & Application

There’s something so glam about this glass bottle and I love the fact that the formula is described as a “glaze,” which suggests something a bit more luminous and skin-enhancing than a traditional body lotion.

The lotion melts into the skin so effortlessly and feels light to the touch but super hydrating.

Finish

The Glaze leaves a light glow on the skin, that just gives that healthy skin finish, perfect for summer. There’s nothing sticky or tacky about it, and you can get dressed immediately, so don’t get put off by the glaze reference.

This also has the fab Banana Woods fragrance, and this layer builds lightly on the scent from the body wash, without being overpowering.

The Banana Woods Fragrance

Both products share the same scent, described as Banana Woods, with notes of:

  • banana
  • peach
  • cacao
  • musk
  • tonka bean

On paper, it sounds quite sweet, but in reality it’s designed to be more of a warm, creamy, musky scent with a soft fruity edge rather than anything overly tropical.

As I said above, I’m quite a fan, and am surprised by how much I love the banana. It all feels very calming and relaxing, and it’s the perfect scent to help enhance overall skin wellbeing and mood.

Results & Skin Benefits

Because this is positioned as “longevity” bodycare, results are more about consistency than instant payoff.

I have been using the duo for about a week and together they are super soothing and nourishing, and bring a great level of comfort to my skin. My skin is feeling nice and hydrated, and even my elbows feel nice and smooth.

With continued use, the benefits are likely to be:

  • improved hydration
  • smoother texture
  • more comfortable, balanced skin

Packaging & Price Point

Joonbyrd Future Romance Body Glaze
Joonbyrd Future Romance Body Glaze

This sits firmly in the premium bodycare category. Future Romance Body Glaze is £62 and the Big Time Body Wash is £39, and packaging-wise, Joonbyrd is very much about that sensory, elevated experience. I love this brand’s aesthetic and if you care what your “shelfies” look like, you will love it.

Is the Joonbyrd Longevity Duo Worth It?

I think this will really appeal if you:

  • enjoy skincare-led bodycare
  • like a strong sensorial element (especially fragrance)
  • are interested in long-term skin health

It’s less about quick results and more about consistency and experience.

I’m already a big fan of Joonbyrd and love their Moon Swim wash and the Daydreamer Body Serum. For more info on those, read:

  • Joonbyrd Moon Swim Body Wash Review
  • Joonbyrd Daydreamer Body Serum and Sunday Sofa Body Butter Review

This new duo is certainly no disappointment.

Final Thoughts

There’s definitely a shift happening towards treating body skin with the same level of care as facial skincare, and this duo leans fully into that.

Whether it’s worth the investment really comes down to how much you value this kind of elevated experience with the kind of high quality ingredients that are often reserved for the face. Personally, now I’m in my 50s, I definitely see the value of treating my body skin with a bit more care and a more targeted approach.

Beauty Pie Le Masque Micro-Caviar Overnight Moisture Mask Review

If you’ve been searching for a hydrating overnight face mask that actually delivers by morning, the Beauty Pie Le Masque Micro-Caviar Overnight Moisture Mask is one to have firmly on your radar.

I first heard about this Beauty Pie overnight mask at the launch of their LED mask (which is excellent, by the way, and very well spec’d – I have a review post here). One of the team told me their favourite routine was to use the LED mask and then follow with this overnight treatment for maximum glow.

Fast forward a few months, I finally got my hands on it, and I have to say, it has completely lived up to the hype.

What is Beauty Pie Le Masque Micro-Caviar Overnight Moisture Mask?

What is Beauty Pie Le Masque Micro-Caviar Overnight Moisture Mask?
What is Beauty Pie Le Masque Micro-Caviar Overnight Moisture Mask?

The Beauty Pie Le Masque Micro-Caviar Overnight Moisture Mask is an overnight mask designed to deeply hydrate, nourish and restore the skin while you sleep.

Its standout feature is the suspended micro-capsules, which are tiny beads dispersed through a soft pink gel. These capsules burst on contact with the skin, releasing nourishing oils that transform the texture as you massage it in.

This kind of formula is often seen in much more expensive skincare, which is why it’s quickly being talked about as a luxury skincare dupe.

Key Ingredients

Precious cherry blossom fusion – sustainably sourced in Provence, France

Omega-9 complex – Micro-Algae Triglyceride Oil containing over 90% of beneficial Omega-9 Oleic Acid

Saffron extract – natural antioxidant to help promote a youthful-looking complexion

Meadowfoam seed oil – skin-softening long-chain Fatty Acids with vitamins A and E

Shea Butter – to nourish dry and dehydrated skin

Glycerin – to hydrate and help improve the skin’s barrier function

Texture & Application

If you love a product that feels like a real sensory moment, this really delivers.

The texture is a beautiful hybrid:

  • Lightweight gel base
  • Filled with delicate oil capsules

As you apply it, the capsules break down and release a silky, slightly oily texture that feels comforting, nourishing and cocooning without heaviness.

Beauty Pie Le Masque Micro-Caviar Overnight Moisture Mask Application
Beauty Pie Le Masque Micro-Caviar Overnight Moisture Mask Application

It melts into the skin effortlessly, creating a soft, cushioned layer that feels perfect for overnight use. This is exactly what you want from an overnight mask for dehydrated skin – something that stays present without feeling sticky or suffocating.

Beauty Pie Le Masque Micro-Caviar Overnight Moisture Mask Review
Beauty Pie Le Masque Micro-Caviar Overnight Moisture Mask Review

I’ve been testing the Beauty Pie Le Masque Micro-Caviar Overnight Moisture Mask for a few weeks now, and it’s one of those products that very quickly earns a permanent place in your routine.

First Impressions

This is a really intriguing formula from the outset. The soft pink gel is filled with tiny micro-caviar beads, which immediately gives it that luxury skincare feel.

It’s the kind of product that makes you want to slow down your routine and actually enjoy the application.

Texture & Feel on Skin

The texture is honestly beautiful. As you massage the product in, the capsules burst and release a lightweight, oily nourishment that transforms the gel into something much more comforting and cocooning.

It melts into the skin effortlessly and doesn’t feel greasy, just soft and nourishing.

Overnight Performance

What I really like about this hydrating overnight face mask is that it actually behaves like a proper overnight treatment. It doesn’t just disappear after application.

If I wake up in the night, I can still feel a soft layer of product on my skin, which I personally love because it feels like it’s still working. By morning, it has completely absorbed. There’s no residue left behind, just well-hydrated, comfortable skin.

Results: Morning Glow & Hydration

This is where the Beauty Pie Le Masque Micro-Caviar Overnight Moisture Mask really delivers. By morning, my skin looks calmer, more nourished and softly radiant. It’s not an overly shiny glow, just that healthy, rested look that’s exactly what you want from an overnight mask for glowing skin.

It’s particularly good when my skin is feeling a bit depleted or dehydrated, as it really helps restore comfort overnight.

Beauty Pie vs Dior: Is This a Dupe?

Beauty Pie Le Masque Micro-Caviar Overnight Moisture Mask vs Dior
Beauty Pie Le Masque Micro-Caviar Overnight Moisture Mask vs Dior

One of the reasons this product is getting so much attention is its similarity to Dior Prestige Le Micro-Caviar de Rose* which is £418.

Similarities:

  • Micro-capsule (caviar-style) technology
  • Transformative gel-to-oil texture
  • Focus on nourishment, glow and skin comfort
  • A distinctly luxury application experience

Key Differences:

  • Dior focuses heavily on rose actives and premium anti-ageing positioning
  • Beauty Pie delivers a more accessible, hydration-focused version
  • Price point is dramatically lower with Beauty Pie

When you look at the Beauty Pie Le Masque Micro-Caviar Overnight Moisture Mask alongside the Dior Prestige Le Micro-Caviar de Rose, what’s really interesting is how similar the base of the formulas actually is. Both are built around a really comforting hydration structure with things like glycerin, propanediol, caprylic/capric triglyceride, meadowfoam seed oil, shea butter and betaine. So in terms of that soft, cocooning overnight feel that leaves skin feeling cushioned and nourished by morning, they’re actually much closer than you might expect.

Where Dior really starts to pull away is in the more targeted skincare actives and the overall complexity of the formula. You’ve got ingredients like adenosine, a vitamin C derivative (ascorbyl glucoside), rose extract and other supporting actives that are all working a bit more specifically on things like radiance, smoothing and skin renewal.

The Beauty Pie version keeps things more focused on hydration, comfort and that sensorial micro-caviar texture, without quite the same level of active skincare layering. And I do think that’s where some of the price difference comes in. Dior is very much delivering a more treatment-led, highly engineered luxury skincare experience, whereas Beauty Pie is giving you a really beautiful, effective hydration and glow formula at a much more accessible price point.

How to Use Beauty Pie Le Masque Micro-Caviar Overnight Moisture Mask

  • Apply as the final step in your evening routine
  • Massage gently to break the capsules
  • Leave on overnight

Pro tip: Use after an LED mask or active skincare routine to maximise results and wake up with glowing skin.

I actually love this over my Medik8 Crystal Retinal 6*. I apply my Retinal, leave for at least 10 minutes, and then follow without the mask before going to sleep.

FAQ: Beauty Pie Le Masque Micro-Caviar Overnight Moisture Mask

Is Beauty Pie Le Masque Micro-Caviar Overnight Moisture Mask worth it?

Yes, especially if you’re looking for a high-performance overnight mask without a luxury price tag.

Can I use this overnight mask every night?

You can, particularly if your skin is dry or dehydrated. Alternatively, use it a few times a week as a treatment.

Is this a dupe for Dior Prestige Micro-Caviar?

It’s not identical, but it offers a very similar texture, experience and result, making it a strong alternative.

Will it clog pores?

It’s nourishing but not overly heavy. If you’re oily or breakout-prone, use it a few times a week rather than nightly.

Can I use it instead of moisturiser?

Yes, this works as a treatment moisturiser or final step in your routine.

Overall Thoughts

This is one of those products that feels both effective and enjoyable to use, which is always a winning combination.

If you’re looking for a Beauty Pie overnight mask that delivers hydration, comfort and a visible glow by morning, this is a really strong option.

It’s become a go-to for nights when my skin needs a bit of extra care, and it’s one I keep reaching for.

My Review

My Review of Tatcha The Milky Sunscreen SPF 50
My Review of Tatcha The Milky Sunscreen SPF 50

I absolutely love Tatcha The Milky Sunscreen SPF 50+. This is one of those SPFs that just makes daily application feel effortless.

The texture is gorgeous. It’s like a light emulsion, so it layers beautifully over skincare without ever feeling like you’re piling product onto your skin. It’s light, slightly liquidy, and so easy to blend.

It feels super hydrating and really refreshing on the skin. It melts in effortlessly and leaves your complexion looking almost like you’ve applied the Tatcha Dewy Skin Cream or Dewy Milk – more info on those here – that kind of fresh, healthy glow, but in a much lighter, more wearable way.

What I really like is how well it sets. It sinks in nicely, doesn’t sit on the surface, and works beautifully under makeup. You get a lovely glow, but nothing too shiny or over the top. It’s also really comfortable to wear throughout the day and, importantly, it doesn’t sting my eyes at all, which is always a big tick when it comes to SPF.

The packaging is great too. It’s nice and compact, so it’s easy to throw in your handbag for top-ups. Overall, it’s just a really lovely, easy-to-use sunscreen that fits seamlessly into your routine.

What I Like

  • Beautiful lightweight, milky texture
  • Layers effortlessly over skincare
  • Hydrating and refreshing on the skin
  • Gives a soft, healthy glow
  • Sits perfectly under makeup
  • No eye stinging
  • Great handbag-friendly packaging

Who Is Tatcha The Milky Sunscreen SPF 50+ Best For?

Tatcha The Milky Sunscreen SPF 50+ is a great option if you:

  • Prefer lightweight, barely-there sunscreen textures
  • Want an SPF that feels like skincare
  • Have normal to dry skin and enjoy a hydrating finish
  • Love a fresh, healthy, slightly dewy glow
  • Wear makeup and need SPF that layers seamlessly underneath
  • Find traditional sunscreens too heavy or greasy

It’s less ideal if you prefer a matte finish or need strong oil control throughout the day.

Comparisons

How Does Tatcha The Milky Sunscreen SPF 50+ Compare?

If you’ve read my best SPF 50 for face roundup, you’ll know there are lots of excellent formulas out there, so here’s how Tatcha The Milky Sunscreen SPF 50+ fits in.

Vs Ultra Violette Fave Fluid
Ultra Violette sunscreens tend to have a slightly more “primer-like” finish, whereas Tatcha is more skincare-focused. If you love a hydrating, fresh skin finish, Tatcha feels lighter and more like an emulsion. The Ultra Violette is also super light, so it really comes down to choice. For more info on that read Ultra Violette Fave Fluid SPF 50+ Ultralight Skinscreen Review.

Vs La Roche-Posay Anthelios UVAIR SPF 50+
La Roche-Posay is always a go-to for reliable protection, and this one is another super light option. For me, Tatcha feels more like a lightweight moisturiser and is a nicer sensory experience if you prioritise texture and glow.

Vs Hydrating/SPF Hybrid Formulas
If you enjoy SPFs that double as skincare, like your more hydrating picks, Tatcha sits firmly in that category. It’s less about mattifying or oil control and more about giving that fresh, healthy, slightly dewy look.

If you’re looking for alternatives, here are some other SPF 50 formulas I’ve reviewed:

  • For something more affordable:
Garnier Vitamin C Daily UV Fluid SPF50 Glow Review
  • For a similar lightweight fluid texture:
Mimétique Everyday50 Invisible Face Fluid Review
Vichy Mineral 89 72H Moisture Boosting Daily Fluid SPF50+ Review

Not quite SPF50, but still worth mentioning.

It’s a comfortable, hydrating SPF that feels easy to wear and works well as part of a simple daily routine. A good option if you’re happy with slightly lower protection.

How to Choose the Best SPF50 for You

Makeup wearers: Prioritise smooth, non-pilling textures

Oily/combination skin: Go for lightweight fluids

Dry skin: Look for hydrating or illuminating formulas

Sensitive skin: Choose gentle, fragrance-free options

Final Thoughts

Finding the best SPF50 for your face really comes down to texture and wearability.

All of these are formulas I’d happily use day to day, and they cover a range of finishes – from ultra-light fluids to glow-boosting creams and on-the-go sticks.

My top tip: find one you love and use it every single day.

Mimétique Everyday50 Invisible Face Fluid Review: One of the Best SPF50s for Daily Use?

If you’re searching for the best SPF50 for your face, especially one that works beautifully under makeup, I may have just found a new favourite. I wear SPF50 every single day, and I’m always looking for formulas that feel like skincare rather than sunscreen. The Mimétique Everyday50 Invisible Face Fluid is the first product I’ve tried from the brand, and it’s made a very strong first impression.

What is Mimétique Everyday50 Invisible Face Fluid?

Mimétique Everyday50 Invisible Face Fluid is a broad-spectrum SPF50 sunscreen for the face, designed to deliver high UV protection in a lightweight, skincare-like formula.

It’s created to:

  • Protect against UVA and UVB rays
  • Feel invisible on the skin
  • Layer seamlessly with skincare and makeup
  • Deliver a comfortable, radiant finish

If you’re searching for the best SPF50 for everyday use, this is very much positioned in that category.

Why I Always Recommend SPF50

Daily SPF is the most important step in any skincare routine.

A good SPF50 helps protect against:

  • Premature ageing
  • Pigmentation
  • Loss of firmness

But the key is finding one you actually enjoy using, because consistency is everything.

Texture & Application

This is such a lovely formula to use. The texture is light, silky and fluid, and it genuinely feels more like a serum than a traditional sunscreen. It glides over the skin effortlessly and blends in within seconds.

There’s:

  • No heaviness
  • No chalkiness
  • No dragging

It layers beautifully over skincare, which is so important if you’re using multiple products underneath.

Finish on the Skin

The finish is fresh, radiant and really flattering. It gives a soft, healthy glow, but what I really like is that it sets slightly, so you don’t get that overly dewy or greasy effect.

If you’re searching for a glowy SPF50 that isn’t greasy, this is a great option.

How It Works Under Makeup

This sits beautifully under makeup. My foundation applies smoothly over the top without pilling, slipping or separating and it actually creates a really nice base that enhances how makeup looks on the skin.

For anyone looking for the best SPF50 under makeup, this definitely ticks the box.

Comfort & Wear

Comfort is a big standout for me.

  • It doesn’t sting my eyes
  • It feels lightweight all day
  • It doesn’t dry out my skin

It genuinely feels like part of your skincare routine rather than an extra layer.

Ingredients & Benefits

This is where this SPF really stands out for me, because it’s not just about protection,it’s about how the formula supports the skin while you’re wearing it.

The blend of modern UV filters gives you that high SPF50 protection against both UVA and UVB rays, which is essential for preventing premature ageing and pigmentation.

Alongside that, you have hydrating ingredients that help keep the skin feeling comfortable and balanced throughout the day. I find this makes a big difference, especially if you’re wearing SPF daily. There’s none of that tight or drying feeling you can sometimes get.

The formula also includes emollients and skin-conditioning agents, which is what gives it that beautiful silky texture. These ingredients help smooth the skin and create that refined, slightly perfected finish, which is why makeup sits so well on top.

There’s also antioxidant support, which I always think is a great addition. While SPF is your main line of defence, antioxidants help to back that up by protecting against environmental stress.

For me, this combination is exactly what makes a sunscreen feel like one of the best SPF50s. It’s not just doing the job of protection, it’s actively making your skin look and feel better while you’re wearing it.

Key Ingredients

Who Is It Best For?

This is ideal if you’re looking for:

  • The best SPF50 for everyday use
  • A lightweight sunscreen that feels like skincare
  • An SPF that layers well under makeup
  • A comfortable, non-irritating formula

Final Thoughts

I absolutely love using an SPF50 daily, and this is one I genuinely look forward to applying.

It’s:

  • Lightweight
  • Silky
  • Comfortable
  • Glow-enhancing
  • Brilliant under makeup

And as a first introduction to Mimétique, it’s incredibly convincing. It’s definitely made me want to try more from the brand.

If you’re on the hunt for the best SPF50 that feels like skincare, this is well worth checking out.
