If you’ve been curious about the Rhode Glazing Mist, you’re not alone. This skincare mist has been getting a lot of buzz, and I’ve been testing it out to see how it really performs. Here’s my full review, including what I liked, how it works on the skin, and who I think it’s best for.

Rhode Glazing Mist is a facial mist designed to add a layer of hydration and barrier support throughout the day. It contains a mix of humectants, barrier-building lipids, and soothing ingredients. The formula isn’t overly complex, but it does what it sets out to do: hydrate and refresh.
Glycerin – one of my favourite humectants. It draws water into the skin and keeps things bouncy and hydrated.
Ectoin – a very buzzy skincare ingredient at the moment. It’s known for protecting the skin against stress, pollution, and dehydration.
Beta-glucan – calms irritation, hydrates, and supports healing.
Ceramides (NP, AP, EOP) – great for strengthening the skin barrier
Panthenol – soothing, repairing, and helps with skin softness
Magnolia Bark Extract – antioxidant with anti-inflammatory benefits.
You can apply this straight after cleansing and before your serums and moisturisers. It’s also designed to be used on the go, whenever your skin needs a boost in hydration.

I really like how hydrating this mist feels on the skin. It’s lightweight, refreshing, and has lots of those barrier-building ingredients that my skin always appreciates.
I especially love the inclusion of glycerin, which is such a reliable hydrator, and ectoin, which feels very of-the-moment and innovative.

When I apply it, it gives my skin a lovely dewy glow. That said, I don’t think the dewy finish lasts all day. It sinks in quite quickly, which makes the effect more subtle as time goes on.
I tried it on my husband and he looked nice and glowy (in fact, more dewy than he wanted to look!), but later on in the day, I honestly forgot I’d sprayed it on him. So I’d say the finish is fairly temporary.
This is definitely a hydration and barrier support mist, so if you’re someone with:
…it could be a really nice product to keep in your handbag.
It’s not an anti-ageing mist and it won’t target serious skin concerns, but it does a great job of hydrating and refreshing when your skin feels tight or dull.

Pros:
Cons:
Yes, but you might not need the extra barrier lipids unless your skin feels stripped or tight.
Not really. This is more of a skincare mist than a setting spray. It may refresh makeup but isn’t designed to lock it in.
Absolutely. It’s gentle enough for daily use, even multiple times a day. I like this about it, because I think we can get a bit mist happy and you can completely go for it with this one. Whereas something like the Elemis Pro-Collagen Toning Mist contains active exfoliants, so you should go mad with it.
No, it’s not formulated to target fine lines, wrinkles, or pigmentation. It’s more about hydration and barrier repair.
If you like the sound of this formula but want to explore other options, here are some alternatives with similar hydrating/barrier-supporting profiles:
Rhode Glazing Mist is a lovely hydrating mist with lots of thoughtful, skin-friendly ingredients. If you want something simple to top up moisture during the day and enjoy that fresh, dewy look, it’s a good option.
It won’t transform your skin or tackle major issues, but it’s a comforting, handbag-friendly hydration boost.
The Rhode Glazing Mist is £30 and available now via the link below:
