The Sunday Tittle Tattle: Nutella and Forgotten Dresses

personalised nutella

1) I don’t even like Nutella that much*, but I love the idea that you can personalise your own jar! I found this little gift idea when I was browsing about on the newly re-launched Selfridges website (they have a “favourites” button now so that you can save things to your wishlist as you go along, and it’s easier to search for stuff) and I thought that it made for quite a nice stocking filler. £3.99. You can order your personalised Nutella here. (*I say I don’t really like Nutella that much, but I don’t think that I have ever properly tried it! I must rectify that situation. Is it as addictive as people make out? I think I once had some inside a crepe when I was on holiday, but I couldn’t be sure…)

Burt's Bees Pop Up

Calling all my fellow Scots and those who may just be in town for the next few days (if not don’t worry there will be other locations and dates added to the tour), Burt’s Bees will be bringing their interactive Wall of Kisses to no other than Buchanan Galleries, Glasgow, to celebrate the launch of their new lipstick collection from the 3rd-5th of March.

Burt's Bees Pop Up

If you are available to pop along not only can you see all 18 shades of the new lipstick in person but you can of course try on as many as you like and have a mini lip consultation with a make-up artist on hand. As mentioned there is a interactive wall of kisses, which will display images and gifs created at the Burt’s Bees pop up which will then be emailed directly to your inbox so you can upload your creation onto Twitter and/or Instagram to be in with the chance to win all 18 shades worth no less than £178.

Burt's Bees Pop Up

I promise it will be a lot of fun – who doesn’t love lipstick? – and it would be lovely to say hello in person – I will be at the Burt’s Bees Pop Up at Buchanan Galleries, Glasgow (ground floor) tomorrow so if you can, please drop by.

5 Best Time-Saving Things for your Hair

colab dry shampoo

I hate doing my hair. Hate it, hate it. Hence my love for dry shampoo, hence my own dry shampoo brand, hence the fact that I probably go through a can of Colab Sheer & Invisible every other week, using it to refresh between washes, de-lank my roots and add a bit of volume without having to do a full-scale blow-dry.

So yes, Colab is one of my top hair time-savers, but there are four others in this video, including a ridiculously powerful hairdryer, a speed-dry potion, a towel that does half of the moisture-blotting for you and what must be – must – the world’s best hair styling tool.

Do enjoy – and please check the updated Colab stockist list if you are non-UK and chomping at the bit to get hold of some! We’ve just launched in the US, which is big news and more countries are being added to the list every week, now.

If you can’t be bothered to watch the vid, and don’t want to see me demonstrate the world’s best hair styling tool, then there’s a spoiler list of products further on down the page. But if you buy the Babyliss and don’t heed my little warnings then on your head be it. Literally. (Watch the video, it will all make sense.)
