If you’ve been waiting for Kulfi Beauty to hit UK shelves, the time has come! This is my full Kulfi Beauty UK review with swatches and product thoughts ahead of the official UK launch at Space NK on Friday 8th August 2025.

I’ve tested five of the most exciting products from the range, from the Main Match Concealer to the dreamy Heirloom Lipsticks. Here’s everything you need to know before it drops.

What is Kulfi Beauty?

Before I dive into this Kulfi Beauty UK review, here’s a little background. Kulfi Beauty is a South Asian-inspired makeup brand known for its bold colour stories, creamy formulas, and inclusive shade ranges. Founded with joy and celebration in mind, this brand champions skin tones that are often overlooked.

Their mission? To make makeup feel like fun, not pressure, and it shows. Founder Priyanka Ganjoo created the Kulfi Beauty brand back in 2021 with the aim of addressing the lack of representation for South Asian individuals in the beauty industry. Having tried the products, however, and meeting lovely Priyanka, I feel it’s truly a brand for everyone.

This is mousse-like cream shadow formula and it delivers high-impact shimmer in both duo-chrome and metallic finishes, with zero fallout. I have the shade Sitara Sparkes:

This kind of shadow is perfect for one-and-done eye looks and it also layers really nicely over my REESON Lid Elixir, which is great if you want to add in some wearable skincare.

Mehndi Moment Blush (£24) – Lucky Lotus Swatch

This is a super pigmented tube of blush and you only need a tiny bit. I have shade Lucky Lotus which is a vibrant purple shade, and probably not the one I’d choose for my skin tone.

I find that popping a small amount on to the back of your hand and then working it into a brush before applying is the most foolproof way of using it.

Heirloom Satin Lipstick (£28) – Bangle Box Swatch

The Heirloom Satin Lipstick might actually be my top pick from the whole collection. I have the shade Bangle Box which is a gorgeous soft pink.

I also really loved the look of Polki Dots, which has a beautiful peachy tone. It’s a gorgeous formula, and perfect for everyday wear. It is super comfortable and creamy. Love it.

Kulfi Badi Lash Mascara (£26) Review

I got on really well with this mascara. Think fluttery, natural length with serious staying power. It is a tubing mascara, so it’s long-lasting and smudge-proof. I really like the slim wand with the spiky ball on the end which is great for getting into the outer lashes and pulling them outwards.

A little goes a long way with this, and it gives a nice lift to the lashes.

If you’re thinking of trying something new when Kulfi Beauty launches in the UK, I can wholeheartedly recommend this range. The formulas are fun, easy to use, and they genuinely perform. Definitely try the Heirloom Satin Lipsticks if you are looking for an easy to wear, and comfortable lip colour, with gorgeous packaging.

This Kulfi Beauty UK review was such a pleasure to write, and I look forward to trying more products from the brand.

What Is a Tubing Mascara?

If you’ve never tried a tubing mascara, here’s the lowdown. Unlike traditional formulas that use waxes and oils (which can smudge), tubing mascaras use polymer technology to wrap around each lash. This creates “tubes” that stay put all day and slide off with warm water.

They’re especially great for:

Which RUM Wrap Party Tubing Mascara Shade Should You Choose?

The RUM Wrap Party Tubing Mascara comes in two stunning shades: Taxi and Inkwell, and while colour is the obvious difference, I’ve noticed that each formula delivers a slightly different lash effect too, which I absolutely love.

Taxi is your deepest black. It is intense, bold, and dramatic. It gives gorgeous depth of colour and a real punch of volume. If you love that instant impact, this is the one. It’s perfect for nights out, events, or whenever you want a lash that really shows up
Inkwell, on the other hand, is a beautifully elegant midnight navy. It gives a more fluttery, lengthened look which I think is super refined and wearable. It’s softer than black, but still defines the eyes beautifully, especially on my brown eyes I think. I find it ideal for daytime or for a chic, understated look,

Inkwell will be my one to go for a daytime lash, while Taxi brings all the night time drama. Both perform the same with no smudging or crumbling.

My Favourite?

RUM Wrap Party Tubing Mascara in Inkwell

I genuinely don’t think I own another navy mascara and I am so happy to have Inkwell in my collection. It is subtle but striking and gives that hint of colour that brightens the whites of the eyes, makes lashes look lush but soft, and adds a bit of an unexpected elegant yet edgy twist.

It pairs so beautifully with my REESON Beauty Lid Elixir in Toasted Cinnamon. The navy of Inkwell really plays off the warmth of the shadow. I’ll be reaching for this combo all summer long.

What’s the Wand Like?

The Wrap Party brush is just right. It’s slender and slightly tapered, allowing you to get right into the base of the lashes to lift, separate, and coat every lash evenly and it really gets into the inner corners.

It performs brilliantly on both top and bottom lashes, with no mess or smudges, which is a massive win.

How to Apply Wrap Party Tubing Mascara

You apply it like a traditional mascara but with one key tip. As works best with tubing mascaras, I like to layer it while it’s still wet to build up the volume, something that Sam, Sali and Jo recommend.

Because it’s a tubing formula, you don’t want to wait between coats. Just keep building until you get your desired level of drama. RUM say: Taxi builds beautifully for a bold, glam look, while Inkwell looks best with one or two elegant coats.

How to Remove It

As this is a tubing mascara, you don’t need anything fancy. Simply:

Soak lashes with warm water
Gently pinch between your thumb and finger, and the little tubes slide off

Is RUM Wrap Party Tubing Mascara Worth It?

In a word: YES.

This is genuinely one of the nicest tubing mascaras I’ve tried and depending on which one you choose and how you apply it, you can achieve that lash-lifted, fluttery, clean glam look that so many mascaras promise but few deliver or you can build up for extra volume and full glam. I love that it comes in a Navy which is actually pretty rare shade!

The Wand

Tower 28 MakeWaves Mascara Wand (shade Drift)

This wand is great at catching every lash, and coating each one without loading on too much product at once. It extends and separates the lashes really nicely.

This mascara is really easy to use. Simply use the inner curve of the brush to build up visible volume and the longer bristles to lengthen and define. You can apply additional coats while lashes are still wet for more volume.

My Review of Tower 28 MakeWaves Mascara shade Drift

It is so exciting to find a really good brown mascara! I think most people tend to choose a black mascara, (and I did actually pick up the Black version of this too), but I went straight for the brown one to start testing.

I am absolutely loving this mascara. Drift is the perfect shade of brown. Not too deep that you lose the softness, and not too warm that you end up looking like your eyes are a bit sore. It is just the perfect shade of brown.

The brush is great at picking up and stretching out every lash, and the formula has a lovely volumising effect that still keeps things looking fairly natural.

It feels really light on the lashes, isn’t at all irritating and I haven’t noticed any flaking or smudging. It’s great. I will try the black shade, Jet, soon but for now, Drift is just perfect.

If you’re looking for a new mascara that simply enhances the lashes, adds length and volume, and also keeps a curl, the Tower 28 MakeWaves Mascara is definitely one to look at.

Although this isn’t a tubing mascara, it does resemble one as it is lightweight, non-irritating and safe for sensitive eyes and contact lenses.

What makes MakeWaves Mascara unique?

This is a fairly unique mascara because, although it is not technically a tubing mascara, it really does act like one because it never flakes or smudges, and also holds a curl exceptionally well. It is also suitable for contact lens wearers and sensitive eyes.

What is REESON Beauty Lid Elixir?

I basically made Lid Elixir for me because I have wanted smoother, more youthful looking eye lids for the longest time and there wasn’t anything out there that I felt would do the job.

Like the Bronzing Balm and the Highlighter Duo, the REESON Beauty Lid Elixir is a skincare-makeup hybrid product, and a truly skincare-first formula. It is a peptide packed serum-tint designed to treat the eye lids. The challenge was to add long lasting, crease resistant colour and soft shine. But we did it. Lid Elixir took over 3 years to formulate!

Key Ingredients

MATRIXYL SYNTHE 6 – powerful peptide also known as Palmitoyl Tripeptide-38. Boosts collagen and elastin synthesis and works with the skin’s natural matrix to produce a visible smoothing and lifting effect. Studies have shown it improve the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles, uneven skin tone, and dullness

GATULINE LINK N LIFT – Horse Chestnut Extract works to stimulate cellular dynamism of fibroblasts. Studies show that it reconnects the epidermis with the dermis to reinforce the skin’s structure and reduce wrinkles

SODIUM HYALURONATE – form of Hyaluronic Acid with a smaller molecular size, it helps to plump and firm the delicate eye area, smooths the appearance of the eye lids, and provides long-lasting hydration for an elastic skin surface

SQUALANE – helps maintain moisture in the skin, leaving skin feeling supple and more comfortable. Boosting hydration can help your skin to appear more vibrant and healthier.

How to use the REESON Beauty Lid Elixir

Apply a tiny amount of Lid Elixir directly on to the lids with with either fingertips or a small brush.. You can tap to blend out the edges or blend with a brush. For extra smoothing, try to keep lids closed and still for a few seconds to allow the formula to set.

I like to use it alone, however you can apply other eye makeup on top as long as you have allowed it to completely dry.
