I’ve always had a soft spot for a facial mist, but I’m increasingly drawn to formulas that offer more than a fleeting moment of hydration. This is where the haruharu wonder Black Rice Probiotics Barrier 2% NAD+ Serum Mist feels particularly relevant. It is positioned as a mist, but very much behaves like a treatment.
Here’s everything you need to know.
haruharu wonder is a South Korean skincare brand known for its gentle, barrier-focused formulas and modern approach to “slow beauty”.
The name haruharu translates to “day by day” in Korean, reflecting the brand’s philosophy of consistent, everyday skincare rather than quick fixes.
Founded in Seoul, the brand has grown rapidly in recent years and is now available in over 150 countries, gaining a reputation for accessible, results-driven K-beauty.
At the heart of the range is a focus on:
The brand is particularly known for its proprietary black rice fermentation process, designed to enhance antioxidant levels and improve ingredient absorption while remaining gentle on the skin.

This is a bi-phase serum mist designed to hydrate, strengthen the skin barrier, and support overall skin resilience.
At the centre of the formula is 2% NAD+ (Nicotinamide Adenine Dinucleotide) which is a coenzyme naturally present in the body that plays a role in cellular repair and energy production, and notably declines as we age.
Alongside this, you’ll find:
It’s also fragrance-free, which will appeal to anyone with more sensitive or reactive skin.
This is a bi-phase formula, so it needs a quick shake before use. Once mixed, it dispenses as a super fine, lightly milky mist.
On the skin, it feels:
It leaves a soft, healthy-looking finish on the skin.

Now as I already said, I love a mist and with this one, from first use, there is an immediate sense of comfort and hydration. The delivery is super fine, which I always love, and it puffs out soft clouds of hydration, making it perfect for over makeup. It makes my skin feels softer and immediately less tight, as soon I use it. especially if it has been exposed to actives or environmental stress.
It gives my skin a gorgeous dewy look, but not greasy, and I love to use it post cleansing to boost absorption and performance of my other skin care products. Plus, it’s also great over makeup to melt everything into the skin, and perfect to boost hydration and refresh the skin throughout the day.
This is the first time I’ve really used anything from the haruharu wonder brand, however, it has made me very keen to try more.
The formula strikes a considered balance between advanced and barrier-focused ingredients:
It feels thoughtfully formulated, with a clear focus on long-term skin health.
This is particularly well suited to:
This is a quietly impressive product that prioritises skin health over quick results. For anyone looking to support their skin barrier in a consistent and low-effort way, this is a very worthwhile addition.
