This isn’t a new skincare product but I have only just discovered it and I think it is absolutely gorgeous. In case it’s new to you too, here’s the lowdown on Farmacy Honey Grail Hydrating Face Oil. It’s a guaranteed glow getter and also a great product for winter skin.
Farmacy’s Honey Grail is a hydrating facial oil that is designed to revive the complexion in a quick absorbing non-comedogenic format:
Buckwheat Honey: antioxidants, super soothing and hydrating
Sea Buckthorn Oil: rich in antioxidants omegas 3, 6 and 7, and amino acids to moisturise and protect from free radicals

The texture of this face oil from Farmacy won me over instantly. It is absolutely divine. I literally couldn’t wait to get it on my face. And when I did get it on my face, I found the way it performs very impressive.
It is super luxurious and rich, yet I found that it sinks in effortlessly and leaves my skin softly glowing and not at all greasy looking. For the texture of the oil, it acts in the lightest way, it’s quite incredible.
I really like the glass bottle. It feels weighty and luxe and I do love a pipette dropper for a face oil. The oil itself itself is golden like honey and it has a thick gloopy texture to look at. But as I said, it sinks in as if it is a lighter, finer oil and it somehow imparts just the most gorgeous glow and completely avoids “greasy mess.”

Initially, I thought this would be more of a night time product, but I have to say, I think for me, this is the perfect day time oil for the winter months. I have been layering a few drops over serum and under my moisturiser and SPF. It works to boost hydration and give a soft extra glow that really lasts on the skin.
You can also mix it into your other products, and I am actually keen to try mixing it into foundation. I’ll let you know if it’s good.
You can also use it on hair, which again, I am yet to try. However, I’d imagine it will be great on damp ends to seal down any split ends.
I have been absolutely loving this. I have combination skin, and I feel that this texture and ingredients set lends itself perfectly to skin that is hydrated but can also be a little oily. If you worry about oils blocking pores or making you look oilier than you already are, I think this will be perfect, as I find it super balancing.
Honey Grail is perfect for anyone dealing with dry or unbalanced skin, especially in the colder months. As I said, I am combination, but I also think this will work really well even if you are oily because it sinks in beautifully, and provides a lovely balancing effect.
Farmacy’s Honey Grail is a beautifully formulated, indulgent product that delivers on its promises. The glow it gives is nothing short of perfect, and its versatility means you’ll reach for it time and time again. As you know, last year I rediscovered K beauty and ordered from Stylevana for the very first time! Several orders later I’ve been trying so many new (to me ) K beauty brands. One of those new brands was Round Lab. They had a trial set that I thought was the perfect introduction to the brand. In this post I will be reviewing the products in the set
I got the Round Lab 1025 Dokdo On The Go Kit which comes with a cleanser, toner and lotion(emulsion). The set is currently out of stock at Stylevana but the products are available to get individually.
Cleanser
The 1025 Dokdo Cleanser is formulated with hyaluronic acid and ceramides to gently cleanse the skin without disrupting the skin’s barrier. I’m currently using this in both my AM & PM routines. The formula does foam up nicely and I find it to give a thorough cleanse without leaving my skin dry. I really like this cleanser and I’ve had no issues again. A little goes a long way
Toner
a fuss free toner, it was nothing special tbh and I had no issues with it. I didnt experience any brightening as promised but I liked how it felt on my skin. Will I buy this as a stand alone product? probably not as there are other k beauty toners i love
Lotion
This was the star of the show for me. The lotion was lightweight and incredibly hydrating. This has triple hyaluronic acid and promises to provide deep and long lasting moisture and soften rough texture and skin! It delivers on that promise! I didn’t need a moisturiser after the lotion and its something I will definitely look to buy again
Conclusion
I hope this set comes back in stock soon because its the perfect intro to the brand, and the sizes make it perfect for travel. I would buy the full sizes of the cleanser and lotion again as I really enjoyed them. The set is really geared towards all skintypes but I think dry to normal skin will benefit the most.
